Biography

Who Am I?

My name is Ryan Sasaki and I am a Technical Marketing Specialist for ACD/Labs.

I have been with ACD/Labs for almost three years now and am deeply involved in the marketing and product development of our NMR product line. Prior to my employment at ACD/Labs, I worked for several years as a Process Chemist in a large pharmaceutical company. While I do not have extensive expertise as an NMR Spectroscopist, I do think that my current job has put me in a position to speak with many, many scientists and spectroscopists around the world, which, as a result, has given me an understanding of what people from various industries are looking for in an NMR software package.

I graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Victoria, under the guidance of Dr. Peter Wan.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Prince Edward Island.

I currently reside on the east coast of Canada in Windsor, NS, where I operate out of a home office remote from my colleagues in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
